ABOUT NETTLE SOUP

Nettle Soup is a York based theatre company founded by Ciara Southwood and Dan Sinclair. They are both currently studying and developing their work with the University of York. Nettle Soup is founded on the love of the dying English tradition of the folktale. Over the years, our rich cultural history has been slowly eroded. Folktales and music have always been a way of binding local communities and bridging divides. We seek to revitalise this tradition.
